Geology 302

The Summer Course, Geology 302, is designed for a student at the end of the junior year. It is recommended that students have already completed courses in sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, and mineralogy.

One of the most economical programs in the country, this six-week camp session begins on the evening of May 27, 2007 (vans will leave Ames and Lincoln on Saturday, May 26). Cost, including tuition*, registration, room and board, and transportation from Ames, Iowa for summer, 2006 was $2701.00.

*tuition is for 6 credit hours; by special arrangement with Iowa State University, out-of-state students pay only in-state tuition for the field camp.
